What is the difference between a nutritionist and dietitian?

Dietitians must obtain their bachelor’s degree from an ACEND-approved program, complete an ACEND-approved clinical program, successfully pass the CDR exam, and complete continuing education credits to maintain registration.

Nutritionists can undergo a variety of training programs and their profession is much less protected by the law.

Can I see you if you do not take my insurance?

Yes! I accept private pay which can be discussed by contacting me. I can also provide you with a superbill. This is essentially a receipt for my services that you can provide to your insurance company to potentially get reimbursed for my services.  

Will I have a copay or incur personal costs if I use insurance?
